  1. Am I right in assuming that the home team is stated first?

  2. Some mouth watering clashes there cant wait for the games - Taroona must be in with a good chance in sneaking into the Semis probably got the best draw they could have hoped as Lonny City are weaker than previous seasons.

  3. I know nothing of the Northern Women’s league other than the ladder I just looked at, but it’s interesting to see the 2 dominating teams from each league meeting in the Quarter Finals. Should give the others some hope for this year outside the league.

  4. All I know about Taroona is what I read on this blog but Launy City are still pretty good and will make it to the semis, they would be the ones thinking they got the best draw.
Semi’s 2 from North and 2 from South, good to see

  5. What a very even draw for all mens matches. Couldn’t have handpicked better quarterfinals matchups.

Taroona and Lonny City would have probably picked each other if they had the choice ?

Both Somerset and Burnie would be happy with the draw. Local match and both would fancy their chances to go through to the semis. That’s the only senior mens match in the whole north of the state that day so both sides should get good vocal crowd of supporters.

The other four southern sides would be happy with the draw. Very winnable matches for each team and no ‘bland’ trips up north !

No tips yet. Too even. Apart from Lonny City to get over Taroona.

  6. i think taroona’s got a good chance to beat launceston city, beating olympic is a huge effort! each team has a good chance to get through to the next round and it should be an interesting match.
