Cheque is in the mail .......lol Fact of the matter is, you were one of those who had plenty of ability, but one of the few who worked really hard aswell and kept your feet on the ground. I look back fondly on our trip to Adelaide in 2002 .... which was a tough trip for me personally .... and a real challenge for the players aswell. You might recall parts of our conversation one night, half way through the tour when we had a bit of a heart to heart ? ....... went something like ... wear the arm band with pride .... but just go out, take the toss and do what your good at ..... go out and enjoy the game .... and have a blinder. Mate .......what a blinder you had ........and you've never looked back !! Congrats on all the great work .... you deserve all the great things that come your way. It was an absolute pleasure to coach someone of your stature .....and that's what makes coaching so worthwhile. Very best of luck with the future. You deserve everything that comes your way Cheers!! Remember the state days, we always had the Vic's measure, don't hold back and get that premiership, i reckon we would have gone close in State but for a few "injuries" and Chisa moving away, this is your chance, you deserve it.
